Main scientific field of the research activities of the department is the pulse action on disperse systems for intensification of mineral recovery and production of the materials with improved properties based on composite powders.
BASIC PROBLEMS AND FUNCTIONS
Functions of the department are aimed at fulfilling the problems of the main scientific field of research activities and consist of the following tasks:
- study of the electrodischarge effect on the bottomhole zone of productive beds of bore wells;
- development of scientific bases of electrodischarge dispersion, activation, and synthesis of composite powders and their consolidation with use of the special purpose equipment;
- study of the electrodischarge effect on the physical and chemical properties of bonding carbon media and other disperse systems;
- study and development of compact small-size high-voltage assemblies, including the systems applicable for extreme conditions;
- development and improvement of the components of immersion electrodischarge devices, electrodischarge technology on purpose to expand their application spheres, to enhance their efficiency and service life.
