TECHNOLOGY OF ELECTROHYDRAULIC PRESS-FITTING OF TUBES INTO TUBE PLATES OF HEAT-EXCHANGE DEVICES
ACCOMPLISHED RESULTS
Reliable permanent tubes connection in tube plates of heat-exchange devices.
ESSENCE
Influence of the energy released during a high-voltage electric discharge in a water-filled polyethylene membrane on the junction "tube-tube plate ".
ADVANTAGES
- 3-7 fold increase of corrosion resistance and tube fastening security;
- decrease of residual stresses in frontal joint welds and in a weld adjacent zone;
- 5 fold decrease of tubes thinning;
- high performance (10-15 fold higher than by mechanical beading)
- no necessity for roller's hard manual operations.
EFFICIENCY
- The equipment operates both in an automatic and manual modes remotely controlled by one operator. Pressing quality is governed automatically.
- Quality of joints at the diffusion welding level is provided in combination with heat treatment.
